Volodymyr Groysman, the Prime Minister of Ukraine and Mateusz Morawiecki, the Prime Minister of Poland held the phone talk when they confirmed the mutual readiness for the dialogue and strategic partnership as Groysman reported at Facebook.
‘We confirmed the mutual readiness for the dialogue and strategic partnership on numerous issues starting with the economy and energy future and finishing with the agenda of Warsaw as the non-persistent member of the UN Security Council for the next two years. Also, I invited the colleague to visit Kyiv at all reasonable time’, the message said.
As we reported Mateusz Morawiecki, the new Prime Minister of Poland, in his first day of office said that the relations with Ukraine should be built on historical truth, and such events as “genocide in Volyn” can’t be forgotten.
Also, he claimed that Poland by receiving Ukrainian refugees helps unload the tension in the Eastern flank of the EU. Pavlo Klimkin, the Foreign Minister of Ukraine responded that the Ukrainians save the Polish economy since a lot of Ukrainians work there.
