The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has supported draft law № 4460-d on the restoration of responsibility for declaring inaccurate information and for failure to submit a declaration by the subject of the declaration. 289 MPs voted in its favour.

The document amends Article 172-6 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses (CAO), which specifies the subjects of this offense.
According to the law, administrative penalties will be imposed if the information in the declaration of the person, who is authorized to perform the functions of state or local government, differs from the reliable information in the amount of 100 to 500 subsistence minimums for able-bodied persons (currently from 227,000 to 1,1 million hryvnias (8,023 to 40,117 dollars).
As we reported earlier, the criminal responsibility for a false declaration was recognized by the Constitutional Court as such that does not correspond to the Main law of Ukraine.
As a result, NACP was obliged to close the register of electronic declarations in order to fulfill the court's decision.
