Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has supported the resolution on dismissal of Yuriy Terentyev from the office of Chairman of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine. 226 MPs voted in its favour.

The online broadcast was provided by 112 Ukraine TV channel.

"To dismiss Terentyev Yuriy Oleksandrovych from the post of the chairman of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine at his own request in connection with his letter of resignation," the text of the resolution reads.

It should be noted that the AMCU chairman himself had previously requested the withdrawal of his resignation letter. He sent a corresponding letter to Verkhovna Rada Chairman Dmytro Razumkov on Thursday.

As we reported earlier, the Ukrainian parliament has officially dismissed Yakiv Smoliy from the post of the Chairman of the National Bank of Ukraine. 286 MPs voted for a relevant resolution.

"To dismiss Yakiv Smoliy from the position of the Chairman of the National Bank of Ukraine," the text of the resolution reads.

Among the initiators of the resolution: President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy Danylo Hetmantsev, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Budget Yuriy Aristov, Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Committee Anastasia Radina.
