Ukrainian MPs could pass the draft bill on the nationwide referendum in November this year. Dmytro Razumkov, the chairman of the Ukrainian Parliament reported that during the briefing.
He added that this bill is being prepared for the next reading, and it's among the top priority draft laws.
"As for the draft bill on the nationwide referendum (...) It's being prepared for the second reading - I guess, even in the near future, in November", the official said.
In June, we reported that President Volodymyr Zelensky registered the respective bill in the Parliament. Soon after that, the first reading took place, and the MPs recommended to develop it further, for the second reading.
First Deputy Head of the Ukrainian Parliament Ruslan Stefanchuk claimed that the decisions made during the referendum will be obligatory.
