Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights Lyudmyla Denisova plans to visit the Commissar for Human Rights of the Council of Europe in Strasbourg and report her on the denial of the visit to all Ukrainian prisoners and urge her to visit the Ukrainians in the Russian prisons as her press service reported.
"I will inform the ambassadors of the Normandy Format countries, EU and the US on the violation of the international conventions, my mandate as the ombudswoman and agreements of the president," she claimed.
Also, Denisova reported that she plans to inform the UN and OSCE mission on the violation of the agreements and denial of the visit to the prisoners.
"We wait for the response of Russia to the offer to unlock the process of the release of the hostages and the political prisoners," Denisova emphasized.
Russian and Ukrainian ombudswomen came to the region where Sentsov's colony is situated on June 28. Denisova arrived earlier than Moskalkova, however, she was not allowed to visit Sentsov.
Later Moskalkova claimed that she met the Ukrainian political prisoner and her visit lasted about an hour. According to her, Sentsov's state is satisfactory, but there are still concerns due to the hunger strike.
