Russian and Ukrainian ombudswomen came to the region where Sentsov's colony is situated on June 28. Denisova arrived earlier than Moskalkova, however, she was not allowed to visit Sentsov.

Later Moskalkova claimed that she met the Ukrainian political prisoner and her visit lasted about an hour. According to her, Sentsov's state is satisfactory, but there are still concerns due to the hunger strike.
