MPs of the Verkhovna Rada, the Ukrainian Parliament, will vote to exclude Nadiya Savchenko from the Parliamentary Committee for National Security and Defense. The issue will be raised at the nearest session of the Verkhovna Rada, said Andriy Teteruk, MP from People’s Front parliamentary faction.

‘During the recent session of the committee, we unanimously voted to exclude her from this authoritative body. We signed the respective decree, and it is to be voted for at the next session of the Parliament,’ Teteruk said.

Nadiya Savchenko, the MP of Ukrainian Parliament, was recently excluded from Batkivshchyna party, as well as from Ukraine’s delegation in PACE. The major reason was her secret negotiations with pro-Russian militants, during which she reportedly discussed exchanging POWs under conditions that are more favorable for the opposing side, than for the Ukrainian government.
