Ukraine's draft budget for 2021 should be approved by December 1. Davyd Arakhamia, the MP from Servant of the People party said so on air of 112 Ukraine TV channel.
"I have my own deadline. It should be December 1, tops. According to the law, it should be before November 20, but there was always a delay. So in order not to spend another "budget night", we set December 1 as a deadline", he said.
The Parliament approved the draft and passed it for MPs' consideration on September 14.
The draft State Budget of Ukraine for 2021 provides for 2.6 billion hryvnias (93.1 million dollars) for the purchase of coronavirus vaccines. This was stated by the Finance Minister Serhiy Marchenko during a briefing.
In total, the new budget envisages 19.4 billion hryvnias (695.3 million dollars) for the fight against the coronavirus infection. Another one billion hryvnias (35.6 million dollars) will be allocated for the protection of schools.
