Ukrainian MP Voloshyn asks PACE to pardon his colleague Honcharenko

Ukrainian MP Oleg Voloshyn asked PACE to excuse his colleague Oleksiy Honcharenko's behavior. As we reported, the latter tried to display the Ukrainain flag shot with Russian bullets in Donbas. 

Voloshyn said so during his interview with Pershiy Nezalezhny TV channel.  

On April 20, President of PACE Rik Daems halted the speech of Oleksiy Honcharenko, threatening with disciplinary sanctions.

"I'm sorry, if my colleague wenr for this shameful performance. They had his microphone disconnected. They chased him off. And later, when I was to speak during the debates on anotehr topic, I said I was sorry for his behavior. I said that as a patriot of my country, I'm ashamed that they could think we all act like that. I ilterally said: our Parliament is not a circus, there is just enough clowns there. And of course, he had hard feelings now, Let him do it again. He thinks he can act like that, being a disgrace for the entire country, and I believe that as an MP, as representative of this state, I've got to say I'm sorry", Voloshyn said.

Earlier, we reported that MP from Opposition Platform - For Life Oleg Voloshyn joined the Ukrainian parliamentary delegation, as it participated in the April session of the PACE, which is underway in Strasbourg. In his speech, Voloshyn focused on the problem of discriminative policy of the government against the language rights of national minorities.
