Ukraine's Armed Forces will conduct combat exercises at Yahorlyk firing range in the Kherson region, southern Ukraine. The press office of the Kherson regional state administration reported that on September 6.
"Movement of military vehicles and manpower will be observed at Yahorlyk firing range in Skadovsk district from September 9 through September 30", reads the message.
Combat units will also practice in firing drills. Local residents are urged to be cautious and keep calm.
Earlier, we reported that the Russian Federation commenced large-scale military training in the firing ranges in southern regions, as well as in the occupied Crimea, Abkhazia, and Southern Ossetia. Russia's Defense Ministry reported that on August 9.
"Specialists from all branches of the military will carry out training and combat missions in the framework of bilateral battalion tactical drill of motorized, tank and artillery units of Southern Military District", reads the message.
The exercises will be held on 20 firing ranges in Astrakhan and Rostov regions, in Kuban district, in the republics of Abkhazia, Adygeya, Dagestan, North and South Ossetia, Chechnya, and the occupied Crimea; they will be running from August 9 till September 15.
