Yet, Avakov didn’t specify the number of bodyguards who protect the Mayor of Dnipro.
Earlier, Head of Dnipro Borys Filatov asked Minister of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov and Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko to provide him with a personal guard, since he found suspicious cars near his house, which probably were watching him.
Reportedly, Borys Filatov became the mayor of Dnipro on November 27, 2015. He worked in the Ukrainian Parliament before, he is an MP of the eighth convocation, not affiliated with any faction. UKROP political party nominated him for the position of a mayor of Dnipro, in the first round he scored 35.77 percent of the votes (second place), while in the second round he won with a score of 52.31 percent.
