The Ministry of Foreign Affairs demands from Russia to free Ahtem Chiygoz . The press service of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry reported this.

'The unjustified accusations in the judicial case against Ahtem Chyigoz witnesses about the continuation of the deliberate policy of the persecution by the country-occupant, intimidations and repressions in Crimea  and domination of the powerlessness and lawlessness on its territory', the message reports.

Also, the press service noted that Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs demands from Kremlin to immediately free Ahtem Chiygoz and stop the human rights abuse and politically motivated persecution of he citizens of Ukraine in the occupied Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopil.  

The Deputy of the Chairman of Mejlis Ahtem Chiygoz was detained on January 29, 2015. He is accused of the organization and partaking in mass unrest near Crimean Parliament on February 26, 2014.
