Ukraine has already developed a National coronavirus vaccination plan. Its approval is expected to take place in the coming week. This was stated by Prime Minister Denys Shmygal on the air of the online conversation "Ukraine and the World in 2021".

"There is a National vaccination plan. Ukraine has it just like many other countries. We will approve it in the coming week," said Shmygal.

According to the official, vaccination of the population against coronavirus will begin, approximately, in February 2021.

"We understand how and who we are going to vaccinate, we almost have the date for it. We are talking about February. We should receive the first million vaccines in March, according to the global COVAX initiative,” he added.

As we reported earlier, according to Mykhailo Radutsky, the Head of the Parliamentary Committee for Public Health, vaccination against coronavirus will be free for the population of Ukraine.

"Firstly, the state will fully finance the free vaccination of the population against Covid-19. Secondly, the National Health Service of Ukraine will receive all the necessary funds for medical institutions dealing with the treatment of patients with coronavirus. In addition, the Budget Code will retain the requirement to finance the medical program. guarantees in the amount of at least 5% of GDP, " he said.
