On October 26, the Cabinet of Ministers adopted a resolution, according to which significant changes in the process of public procurement of medical goods and services will be made. This was reported by ZN.UA.
According to the resolution, the State Enterprise Medical Procurement will be obliged to purchase only those goods which meet the technical and medical requirements of the Ministry of Health.
"In fact, the resolution adopted by the Cabinet of Ministers makes the head of the Ministry of Health Maksym Stepanov responsible for all medical purchases (and their absence)," reads the message.
As we reported earlier, on September 14, the Ukrainian Parliament adopted the bill №3615-1 on the implementation of electronic retail trade of medicines in the second reading.
The corresponding decision was supported by 258 MPs.
The document establishes a list of basic requirements for distance trade of medicines in order to implement them in national legislation and adapt the regulation of this process in accordance with the EU legislation.
