Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has decided to extend adaptive lockdown until July 31. Prime Minister Denys Shmygal announced this during the session of the Ukrainian government that was broadcasted by 112 Ukraine TV channel.
“Given the increase in the number of coronavirus-infected patients, we will prolong the adaptive quarantine until July 31 this year. Today, we also will consider the updated approach to adaptive quarantine proposed by the Ministry of Health, which provides for the possibility of lockdown strengthening in certain regions if the situation requires such actions," Shmygal stated.
As we reported earlier, the government of Ukraine plans to submit to the Verkhovna Rada the issue of the strengthening of the administrative responsibility for the violation of the mask regime during the quarantine.
“We are ready to reconsider the wearing of the masks on the streets but the wearing of the masks on the premises will be relevant for a long time. That is why we plan to submit to the session of the government and the Verkhovna Rada the issue of the strengthening of the administrative responsibility for non-observance of the mask regime on the premises and in the public transport,” Ukraine's PM said.
