Ukraine’s Cabinet of Ministers has adopted decisions aimed at supporting small businesses during the lockdown. This was stated by the head of President’s Office Andriy Yermak.

He added that the Ukrainian government planned to present business support programmes.

"It is necessary to engage in dialogue with entrepreneurs, sole proprietors. To clarify the assistance that the state can provide and inquire about what support they need - a moratorium on checks, preferential loans or tax breaks. There should be communication and elimination of any deficiencies,” Yermak said.

As we reported earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky believes that there is no threat to cooperation between Ukraine and the International Monetary Fund.

Among other things, I want to thank the MPs of Ukraine, and especially the Servant of the People party, which unblocked the adoption of banking law yesterday. 16 000 edits will not scare us and will not disrupt important cooperation between Ukraine and the IMF,” the president said.
