Ukrainian government terminates program of economic cooperation with Russia

The government of Ukraine terminated 'Program of economic cooperation of Ukraine and Russia for 2011-2020'. The decision was made on March 21 as 112.ua reported.

According to the explanatory note, Russia takes steps that contradict the announced goals in the program and aim for the trade and transit aggression against Ukraine as Ukrainian News reported.

Firstly, Russia violated the territorial integrity of Ukraine when it occupied Crimea in 2014. Later in 2015, Russia terminated the Agreement on Free Trade Area within CIS toward Ukraine and the ban for import of the number of the agricultural products, raw materials and food is acting.

The mentioned document was signed on July 7, 2011, in Moscow. It provided the cooperation of two countries in the number of the spheres, particularly the economy, trade, transport, resort and recreational, social and humanitarian, border and others. The program should act until 2020.
