Russian President Vladimir Putin is putting pressure on the European Union in several areas - migrants, troop movements and gas, Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba stated on the Ukraine 24 TV channel.

"As far as I know, President Putin sent the German chancellor to Lukashenko, saying that he only needed to have a direct line of contact and resolve the issue with him. There were no ultimatums. But in general, we must understand that the pressure that Russia is now exerting on several fronts of the hybrid war is one of the tasks of Nord Stream 2 certification. This factor is present in the game that has now unfolded, and it is very dangerous," the minister said.

He clarified that the crisis with migrants on the border with the European Union, the aggravation of the situation on the Ukrainian borders and in the ORDLO, the intensification of Russian propaganda and disinformation in European countries, blocking the "Norman format" and the Minsk process are all tools of the Kremlin's political game to impact on Brussels.

As it was reported earlier, the construction of the Russian Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline was completely finished as of the morning of September 10.

Work on laying the Nord Stream-2 pipeline began in 2018. Its length is 1,230 km. The pipeline is expected to supply 55 billion cubic meters of gas annually from Russia through the Baltic Sea to Germany.

On September 15, the price of gas in Europe broke another record, reaching $950 per thousand cubic meters for the first time in history.

A group of over 40 MEPs soon demanded that the European Commission urgently investigate Gazprom's manipulation and blackmail.

But soon a new problem arose in the European Union - the accumulation of Russian troops on the border with Ukraine. The satellite photos taken by Western experts on November 2 confirmed reports that Russia is again concentrating troops and military hardware on the border with Ukraine. The images were taken by Colorado-based US space technology company Maxar Technologies, which handed them over to Politico.

In addition, the situation with the growing flow of migrants on the border between Belarus and Poland has worsened. An increase in the number of illegal migrants was recorded in Lithuania, Latvia and Poland in the summer, following the EU's decision to impose sanctions on Belarus in connection with the forced landing of a Ryanair plane with opposition journalist Roman Protasevich on May 23.

However, the migration crisis escalated in the last month, when illegal immigrants from the Middle East, entering Belarus, literally tried to break through the Polish border, which is also the EU's external border.
