Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Volodymyr Prystaiko commented on the UN International Court's decision relating to the lawsuit against the Russian Federation, which violated two Conventions. The Minister posted that on his Twitter page

"Ukraine's case against the Russian Federation can move forward! It is proved: financing of terrorism in Ukraine and racial discrimination in Ukraine is under the jurisdiction of the International Court of the UN," Prystaiko wrote.

He also called the decision "a true victory for Ukraine, rule of law and human rights".

As we reported earlier, on November 8, the International Court of the United Nations in the Hague supported Ukraine's lawsuit against Russia about its violations of the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination (ICERD) and the International Convention for the Suppression of the Financing of Terrorism.

As Yevropeiska Pravda reported, the court dismissed the objection of the Russian Federation, which demanded to close the case and claimed that the Convention is unacceptable to its aid to the militants in Donbas.
