Over the past several months, Ukrainian far-right activists have increased the frequency of their attacks on national minorities. Vyacheslav Likhachov, the author of the research conducted on the behalf of Freedom House, said this as quoted by UNN news agency.

'We've been witnessing certain negative dynamics over the past few months. Since the beginning of this year, the number of incidents grew, as the far-rights disrupt the events, public rallies and the closed-door meetings. The number of minorities-related incidents also grew drastically', he said.

The author mentioned many ultranationalist groups, assumed to be involved in such attacks.

The report mentioned the disruption of a lecture about Holocaust in Lviv in January 2018; the attack on Queer Home Kryvbas in Kryvyi Rig (southeastern Ukraine) in February 2018; the attack on those participating in marches on May 8 in Kyiv; an attempt to disrupt the Docudays film festival in Kyiv in March, and the attacks on Roma camps.
