Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danylov does not rule out the extension of distance learning in Ukrainian schools in the fall. He said this during a conference call, the press service of the President’s Office reports.
"There is a possibility that in the fall most Ukrainian schools will have to switch to distance learning, therefore, appropriate technical capabilities should be prepared today," Danylov said.
Also, the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmygal asked the mayors of cities to help educational institutions prepare for distance work.
In the spring of 2020 Ukrainian educational institutions were transferred to distance learning. The school year in schools and universities completed by the same scenario.
As of the morning of June 27, Ukraine recorded 42,065 cases of Covid-19 coronavirus. So, over the last day 948 new cases of Covid-19 reported. Since the start of the pandemic, 1,110 people have died from coronavirus in Ukraine, 18,701 people have recovered.
