34 people got passports in exchange for investments

Cyprus published information about people who got local citizenship in exchange for investment. The list of 34 people includes Ihor Kolomoysky and Hennadiy Boholyubov, as Politis reports.

“Today we publish all names (34), included in the list, along with the notes of the president of the republic,” the message said.

It is noted that 34 people got ‘golden passports’ of Cyprus in exchange for investments.

The article states that Ihor Kolomoysky and his family, Hennadiy Boholyubov, Olena Haiduk (and her husband), Mykhailo Kiperman (and his wife), head of Energetychny Standart Kostyantyn Hryhoryshyn and ex-secretary of National Security and Defense Council and co-owner of Industrial Union of Donbas Vitaliy Haiduk are on the list.

According to Politis, the mentioned names were included in the letter of Republic’s President Nicos Anastasiades to political parties of the country. Earlier, it was classified; however, confidentiality was removed.

As we reported, the U.S. Justice Department accused Ukrainian oligarch Ihor Kolomoisky of stealing billions of dollars from a bank he once owned (Privatbank - 112 International.) and laundering that money in the United States and all over the world.
