Another 130,000 make the operative reserve of the Armed Forces

There are currently 250,000 active servicemen in Ukraine’s Armed Forces; another 130,000 make the operative reserve. Defense minister Stepan Poltorak announced the figures during the international conference in London.

According to the official, over the last three years, Ukrainian fighters significantly improved their skills in terms of combat medicine and evacuation of the wounded from battlefield. The army also supported construction of military hospitals; besides, six army battalions participated in drills designed and held according to the NATO standards.
