Ukrainian armed forces ready for ceasefire in Donbas since March 5, - HQ

The Armed Forces of Ukraine are ready to establish and observe the ceasefire from 00:00 on March 5, 2018. This is reported on the page of the press center of Donbas conflict HQ   in Facebook.

"Units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of antiterrorist operation in the territory of Donetsk and Luhansk regions are ready to ensure the implementation of all measures for the introduction and maintenance of the ceasefire regime along the entire line of delimitation of the parties in eastern Ukraine," the report said.

At the same time it is noted that each agreement on ceasefire was strictly observed by Ukrainian armed forces.

We recall, the Tripartite Contact Group confirms its commitment to a full and indefinite ceasefire in Donbas, starting March 5.

In the Donbas conflict zone zone, the last truce came into force at midnight on December 23. The parties agreed on it during the meeting of the Tripartite Contact Group in Minsk on December 20. At the same time, the sides reaffirmed their commitment to the Minsk agreements. Later it was reported that the militants continued to violate the truce, firing Ukrainian positions.
