Budapest accused Ukraine of the impairment of the rights of the Hungarians in Zakarpattia once again

The Ambassador of Ukraine to Budapest was called to the Foreign Ministry of Hungary due to the attack at the office of the Hungarian Culture Association (KMKSZ) as the press service of the country reported.

Peter Szijjártó, the Foreign Minister already talked to Laslo Brenzovych, the Chairman of the KMKSZ. Szijjártó claimed that the so-called 'wonderful process' takes place in Ukraine; particularly the extremist political ideas are spread. Also, he expressed the confidence that the attack at the KMKSZ aimed to intimidate the members of the Hungarian national community and connected to the law on the education that seriously limits the rights of the national minority according to Budapest.

The Hungarian Foreign Ministry reports due to the incident that the Ambassador of Ukraine will be called for the talk today. Also, Szijjártó planned a meeting with the OSCE High Commissioner for Human Rights and he will offer to organize the special observing commission in Zakarpattia.

As we reported the office of Hungarian Culture Association was burning again. According to the information, the fire happened at night on February 26, about 3:00 pm. At 3:50 the units of the State Emergency Service liquidated the fire. It destroyed furniture and part of the property on an area of 25 square meters.
