Ukraine's security top officials meet with U.S senators

American senators Ron Johnson and Chris Murphy arrived in Ukraine for talks with some of the top statesmen. They met with Secretary of National Security and Defense Council Oleksandr Danyliuk, Head of State Security Service Ivan Bakanov and Defense Minister Andriy Zahorodnyuk.

According to the National Security and Defense Council's press office, the parties discussed the ongoing Russian aggression and reforming Ukraine's security and defense sector.

Previously, the senators met with Ukraine's Prosecutor General Ruslan Ryaboshapka

Prior to this, Ron Johnson and Chris Murphy reported that the Russian government denied their visa requests. Soon after that, the senators announced their visit to Ukraine so as to "show the bipartisan support for the new Ukrainian government".
