A worker of Ukraine's State Security Service, the SBU, was busted on bribery in the Ukrainian capital on Tuesday evening. A correspondent of 112 Ukraine TV channel reported that directly from the scene.
'Operatives of the NABU (National Anti-Corruption Bureau, - 112 International) detained a woman; her identity remains unrevealed, and she herself did not disclose her name. No comments from NABU agents, either', he said.
Meanwhile, the SBU assists the NABU in this case; according to Olena Hitlyanska, the spokeswoman of the agency posted this on Facebook.
'We've been cleaning our Service from traitors and corrupt actors since June 2015. Over the last three years, we registered 89 criminal cases against such workers of the SBU. The courts announced verdicts in 21 of these cases', she wrote.
