Ukraine's president-elect Zelensky meets with Chinese ambassador

President-elect of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky met with the Ambassador from China to Ukraine Du Wei. Zelensky wrote this on Twitter.

 “I had a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary from the People’s Republic of China to Ukraine Du Wei. We have discussed the development of cooperation and traditionally friendly relations between our countries. The experience of China and investments are important for Ukraine,” Zelensky posted.

As we reported earlier, Volodymyr Zelensky met with European Commissioner for EU Enlargement and Neighborhood Policy Johannes Hahn. 

Hahn congratulated Zelensky on his victory in the presidential election in Ukraine and stressed that the victory gives the new leader the mandate to fight corruption and oligarchs.

The Verkhovna Rada, the Parliament of Ukraine registered one more the bill on holding the solemn session devoted to the President-elect Volodymyr Zelensky making an oath and start performing his duties. The website of the Verkhovna Rada reports this.
