"Our government team's working visit to Brussels this week was fruitful in the context of strengthening relations between Ukraine and the European Union. We have held numerous talks, concluded a number of agreements, and started new areas of cooperation. The recent meeting of the Association Council showed a high level of support for Ukraine from the EU. We have started the revision of the Association Agreement," Shmygal said.
As we reported earlier, Ukraine voiced gratitude to the European Parliament for its report on the implementation of the EU Association Agreement with Ukraine and promised to take all of its recommendations into account.
"The Ukrainian side will take into account all the recommendations on the importance of completing the ongoing reforms, in particular in the area of rule of law, good governance and the fight against corruption," the ministry added.
