Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Honcharuk filed a resignation letter and handed it over to President Volodymyr Zelensky. He reported that on Facebook.

"Over the last few days, you all became witnesses of the events around these files that were leaked to the network, edited from the fragments of records of staff meetings in the Government. The contents of these give the impression as if I and my team do not respect the President who is our political leader... He is the man who gained the unprecedented trust of Ukrainians. And he has full authority to assess the effectiveness of every member of his team who changes this country", Honcharuk reported.

Earlier, Honcharuk found himself in the wiretapping scandal; Ukrainian media leaked the embarrassing conversation among Honcharuk, ministers of his Cabinet, members of the President's Office and National Bank officials. The interlocutors discussed the ways how to explain President Zelensky pros and cons of the declining dollar exchange rate. Apparently, the officials referred to Zelensky's poor economic education.
