Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk said that he had not written the letter of resignation. He stated this during a briefing, answering a journalist's questions on his possible resignation. The broadcast was provided by 112 Ukraine TV Channel.

"Look, as of this moment, I have not written any letters. I also know a lot and I have heard a lot. Obviously, we will have consultations with the President and Parliament on this," Honcharuk said.

Prime Minister also added that he was not willing to comment on anything.

Speaking on possible replacements among ministers, Honcharuk said that it was too early to make any statements.

"I have stated for a long time that we are thinking of strengthening the Government. This is a command decision, which depends mainly on the President, the position of his colleagues in Parliament. Whatever the final decision is, I am not willing to comment on it, because it is still on the desk. It is too early to talk on whom we are going to choose and who we are planning to replace,” Ukraine’s PM noted.

As we reported earlier, media published information that President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky might appoint businessman Serhiy Tihipko as Prime Minister of Ukraine instead of Oleksiy Hocharuk.

Zelensky confirmed that he had held a meeting with Tihipko, but also noted that he has meetings with ‘many people.’
