The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will not have time to vote for the bill on the land sale and Donbas status until the New Year as Ukrainian News reported citing Servant of the People faction Head David Arakhamia.

“If all authors, and I think that all opposition forces at the re-consideration and voting for these amendments (bill on land sale, -, I believe that the preliminary estimation is two weeks of voting. There is no time to vote for two weeks until New Year. At all,” Arakhamia said.

According to him, the MPs will have no time to consider and adopt the new bill on Donbas status until 2020. Arakhamia noted that the lawmakers even have not started the work on this document. The politician believes that the elaboration of the new concept and bill will take at least three weeks and month and a half for its consideration and adoption.

On November 13, Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine supported the committee bill on the opening of the agricultural land market № 2178-10 as a basis.

Earlier presidential assistant Andriy Yermak stated that in case of the successful holding of the Normandy Four summit, Volodymyr Zelensky plans to submit the bill on the extension of the special status of the local self-government in uncontrolled part of Donbas
