Ukraine's Navy shape new division in Sea of Azov

The Ukrainian Navy shaped the new division of naval surface forces in the Sea of Azov. Ihor Voronchenko, the Admiral and Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Navy reported that; Interfax-news agency quoted him as saying.

According to the Admiral, four vessels from this group will be based in the ports of Berdyansk and Mariupol. 

These ships are the following: Donbas search and rescue crew (A500), Korets tow boat (A830), Lubny and Kremenchuk, the small cannon boats.

Earlier, the governments of Ukraine and France have signed an intergovernmental agreement on the production and technical support of 20 patrol ships. Arsen Avakov, Ukraine's Interior Minister reported that on Twitter.

"On the behalf of the government of Ukraine, we signed the agreement with French interior minister Christopher Castaner (136.5 mln Euros) on the production and technical support of 20 patrol ships; five of them and all RIB-boats will be constructed in Ukraine. We appreciate France's support in strengthening the system of naval security and protection", Avakov reported.
