Ukraine could create a medium for broadcasting in the occupied Donbas. Volodymyr Borodyansky, Ukraine's Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports said so in an interview with Novoye Vremya.
"We've got some 440 million hryvnias (17.6 mln dollars). We believe it would be enough for now. We'll see", he said, replying to the question whether there would be enough funds for this project.
According to the minister, his office currently negotiates about the content of Ukrainian TV groups on this TV channel.
November 7, Borodyansky said that residents of 80 percent of the occupied Donbas may get the TV signal of the Ukrainian TV channel in three months.
