Ukraine will continue building on its European aspirations and European choices enshrined in the Association Agreement with the EU. This is stated in the comment of Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry regarding the publication of the European Council's conclusions on the Eastern Partnership.
"We share the EU's commitment to building a common space of democracy, prosperity, and stability with partners based on respect for international order and law, including territorial integrity, independence, and sovereignty, as it is stated in the Helsinki Final Act and the OSCE Paris Charter," the statement said.
In addition, the Ministry also stated about Ukraine’s readiness to continue the large-scale transformations defined by the course to European integration. In particular, in the field of justice and the fight against corruption, as well as the further consolidation of democratic principles.
As we reported earlier, Vadym Prystaiko, Ukraine's Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, believes that the terms of the Association Agreement with the European Union should be revised.
