Iranian official expressed condolences to the families of the dead

On January 20, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Vadym Prystaiko and Iranian Minister of Roads and Urban Development Mohammad Eslami discussed cooperation in the investigation of the Ukrainian Boeing-737 crash. The press center of the Ministry informed about it.

Prystaiko emphasized the importance of the issue of "transparent and unbiased" investigation of the tragedy and punishment of those responsible for Ukraine and the world. He also noted that Ukraine needed cooperation with Iran to clarify the circumstances of the incident.

Eslami expressed readiness for "constructive cooperation" in the investigation. He also expressed his condolences on behalf of Iranian authorities to the families of the dead.

As we reported earlier, the bodies of Ukrainians who died in the Boeing 737 plane crash in Iran were delivered to Ukraine. At the Boryspil airport, they were met by top officials and hundreds of ordinary Ukrainians, including relatives of the victims.

On January 8, Boeing 737 of Ukraine's International Airlines, flight PS752 with 176 passengers aboard crashed in Tehran, not far from Imam Khomeini airport.

11 citizens of Ukraine died in the crash of Boeing 737 of Ukraine's International Airlines (PS 752 flight). President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky reported that the passenger plane crash in the Iranian capital left no survivors.
