NATO-standard exercise aims to train fighters in taking joint actions within multi-national force

The Ukrainian Navy sent a group of 30 marines to Georgia, where the servicemen are to join the Noble Partner 2017; this multinational drill aims to improve interaction skills within the multi-national combat unit.

The exercise will be conducted under NATO standards.  

The press centre of the Ukrainian Navy reported that on Friday, adding that Captain Irakliy Kovalevsky is the one who leads the marines’ group from Ukraine.

The drill kicks off on July 30 and will be running till August 15. This year’s Noble Partner is expected to be the largest ever; it is to involve over 2,800 servicemen from Georgia, USA, United Kingdom, Germany, Turkey, Slovenia, Armenia and Ukraine.
