During the local elections 2020 in Ukraine, National Police have recorded numerous cases of violations, such as violation of the secrecy of voting, bribery of voters and illegal destruction of electoral documents. The head of the National Police Ihor Klimenko noted this at a briefing, the press center of the National Police reports
"234 violations of the secrecy of voting, 191 - bribery of voters and illegal destruction of electoral documents - 159", the head of the department said.
However, according to the head of the department, most statements and messages related to campaigning on election day.
As we reported earlier, on the day of the local elections, Ukrainian police received 3,323 applications and messages related to the electoral process.
"These statements related to the following events: campaigning on election day - 1310, violation of the secrecy of voting - 154, bribery of voters - 148, illegal destruction of electoral documents - 117, violation of the procedure for maintaining voter registers or election commissions, or voter lists - 110, illegal use of electoral ballot paper (attempt or removal of a ballot paper) - 71", reads the message of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Also, law enforcement officers noted that 148 protocols have now been drawn up on the commission of administrative offenses.
