Today, on November 30, the leadership of Ukraine will hold a meeting to discuss the introduction of full lockdown in the country. This was reported by the press service of the President's Office.
The results of the meeting will be announced as soon as possible so that the population and business can prepare for the possible introduction of strict quarantine.
"We need to make realistic predictions in order to understand whether our medical system and our economy can withstand the load of patients. We have developed an economic care program, we are constantly improving the health care system. We need both businesses and people to be prepared if the government decides that strict quarantine cannot be avoided,” emphasized Zelensky.
As we reported earlier, Prime Minister Denys Shmygal stated that the Ukrainian government could opt for a winter holiday quarantine.
"Yesterday, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky shared the important initiatives of support of people and business if the quarantine is boosted. Let me be clear: we're preparing for all possible scenarios, including the possible introduction of the quarantine for winter holidays," he noted.
