Ukraine's govt dismisses ECHR Commissioner Lischyna

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dismissed Ivan Lischyna from the post of Deputy Minister of Justice, Commissioner for the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR). MP of the Verkhovna Rada from the European Solidarity party Oleksiy Honcharenko reported that on his Telegram page.

The relevant decision was made at the  government meeting.

"The Cabinet of Ministers dismissed Lischyna from the post of Deputy Justice Minister of Ukraine, Commissioner for the European Court of Human Rights," the message reads.

In April 2020, the Cabinet of Ministers reappointed Lischyna to the post of Deputy Justice Minister, Commissioner for the European Court of Human Rights.

Meanwhile, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine can dismiss three ministers during the next months.

According to the preliminary information, Defense Minister Andriy Taran, Social Policy Minister Maryna Lazebna and Vice PM, Minister for Strategic Industries Oleh Urusky can be dismissed.

According to the sources, this issue will be actively decided after the return of the president and his team from the U.S.
