The Cabinet of Ministers has dismissed Andriy Malovany from the position of Head of the State Ecological Inspection of Ukraine This was announced by the representative of the government in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnychuk on Telegram page.
The government also fired his deputy, Viktor Kantsurak, and immediately appointed him State Secretary of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
Malovany was appointed head of the State Coinspection on May 20, 2020. Prior to that, he held the civil service, in particular in senior positions in the State Agency for Land Resources.
At the same time, the Cabinet of Ministers appointed Yevhen Zborovsky as the head of the State Service of Ukraine for Transport Safety (Ukrtransbezpeka).
Earlier, the Verkhovna Rada dismissed Oleh Urusky from the position of Vice Premier for Industrial Policy. 342 MPs supported the decision.
Urusky was appointed at the office on July 16, 2020.
Urusky held senior positions in enterprises and associations of the defense industry, air transport industry, and mechanical engineering. He led the units of the apparatus of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, the secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers. In 2015, he headed the State Space Agency of Ukraine; before that, he was the First Deputy Minister of Industrial Policy.
