The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine appeals to the European Investment Bank (EIB) with a request to provide the financing of €25 million of aid for small and medium-sized enterprises in the fight against Covid-19. The proper decision was made on October 28 during the meeting of the government.
“To approve the draft letter of the government of Ukraine to the European Investment Bank toward the confirmation of the independence of the offer on the financing by the mentioned bank of ProCredit Bank project for small and medium-sized enterprises and enterprises with mid-cap fund – the emergency aid in the fight against Covid-19 by the framework deal between Ukraine and the European Investment Bank signed on June 15, 2005,” the message said.
As we reported, since the beginning of the Donbas conflict, the United Nations attracted more than $ 500 million in aid to the victims.
Besides, the European Commission has provided additional 10 million euros in humanitarian aid to support the most vulnerable people in eastern Ukraine on the eve of the winter season and in response to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
