On April 19, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba will take part in an online meeting of the Council of the European Union on Foreign Affairs regarding the aggravation of the security situation in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine and around the borders of our state. This was reported on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

"Dmytro Kuleba will inform colleagues from the European Union about the current security situation, propose a number of practical steps to strengthen the effective support of Ukraine from the EU," the Foreign Ministry said.

The Ukrainian foreign ministry stressed that "on the agenda of the meeting of the EU Council on Foreign Affairs with the participation of the head of diplomacy of the European Union and the foreign ministers of all 27 member states there will be issues of an aggravation of the security situation in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine and around the borders of our state, caused by destructive and aggressive actions of the Russian Federation ".

Note that Russia continues to concentrate its military forces around the Ukrainian borders. Yesterday, President Volodymyr Zelensky said that 80,000 Russian military personnel and 30,000 pro-Russian militants are deployed near the border with Ukraine.

The Minister of Defense of Ukraine Andriy Taran said that as additional troops are transferred from the Russian Federation , the number of the Russian military contingent near the borders of Ukraine will increase to 110 thousand soldiers.
