Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin and Austria’s Chancellor Sebastian Kurz had a meeting in Vienna, as the press office of the institution reports.

“At the meeting, the parties have discussed the policy of the EU in terms of Russia as a result of Russian aggression against Ukraine,” the message says.

Besides, the politicians discussed the coming Year of Ukrainian culture in Austria.

Then, Klimkin met with a Viennese cardinal of the Catholic Church Christoph Schönborn. They discussed the creation of a unified local Orthodox Church in Ukraine.

“The Minister participated in the high level international conference on countering anti-Semitism and anti-Zionism with the representatives of world’s Jewish organizations,” the message says.

Before his visit to Austria, Klimkin visited the U.S. and Canada, where he has a couple of meetings.
