Ukraine’s Embassy to the United Kingdom condemned including of Mriya Resort & Spa Hotel into the list of the nominees for 2019 World Travel Awards, as it reported on Twitter.

“We condemn the World Travel Awards’ decision to include Mriya Resort & Spa in Russia-occupied Crimea into Europe Nominees 2019. This is shame and co-sponsorship of a breach of international law by Russia. Since 2018 U.S. sanctions have targeted Mriya Resort & Spa because Crimea is Ukraine,” the embassy emphasized.
