A Ukrainian serviceman, combat medic, deputy chief of personnel training centre of Ukraine’s Navy and Air Force heard the court’s verdict in his case on January 16. Anatoliy Matios, Ukraine’s Military Prosecutor General, reported that on his Facebook page.

Darnytsky district court in Kyiv sentenced the Lieutenant Colonel to eight years in prison – for state treason, defection and siding with the Russian army in spring 2014, during the illegal annexation of Crimea.
