Ukraine's Chief Sanitary Doctor Viktor Lyashko

Viktor Lyashko, Chief Sanitary Doctor of Ukraine, said that a national lockdown could be introduced before and after October 25. He stated this in an interview with NV.

"Regarding the national lockdown, I would not be specific about any date. You can apply lockdown earlier than October 25 and later. It depends only on the number of coronavirus infections. Other countries are setting an example. Israel has already introduced it (the lockdown – 112 International.),” he said.

Lyashko also stressed that a lockdown could be avoided if Ukrainians adhered to sanitary norms.
