Ukraine’s Central Committee registers three more presidential candidates

At the moment, there are 37 registered presidential candidates

The Central Election Committee of Ukraine has registered three more presidential candidates. The decision was taken on the meeting of the Committee today, on February 6. The press-service of the Central Election Committee of Ukraine reports this.

“On February, 6 the citizen of Ukraine Tymoshenko Yuriy, a self-nominated presidential candidate, applied to the Committee; he also presented all the necessary documents for registering on the presidential post in Ukraine for the coming presidential elections. Besides, the documents for registration as a presidential candidate were sent by Zhyravliov Vasyl, who had been nominated at the extraordinary Congress session of the "Stability" party on January 25, 2019. The Committee approved the documents of both candidates according to the “Law on the Presidential elections in Ukraine” and registered them as candidates in the coming elections”, - the report said.

At the moment, there are 37 registered presidential candidates for the coming Ukrainian elections.

As we reported earlier, the Central Election Committee of Ukraine has completed the procedure of registration of presidential candidates who will be running for the office on March 31.

89 people expressed the will to run for the presidency. 28 candidates were registered; the applications of another 22 were turned down.
