Ukraine’s Cabinet of Ministers to appeal against Court’s recognizing order on natural gas prices unlawful

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine will appeal against the decision of the District Administrative Court of Kyiv, which ruled the Cabinet of Ministers’ order №315 on the price formation of natural gas for the people’s needs from April 27, 2016, to be an unlawful and invalid one. Vasyl Riabchuk, the press secretary of the Prime Minister of Ukraine reported this on Facebook.

“The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine will appeal against this decision in accordance with the existing order”, - Vasyl Riabchuk wrote.

Earlier today, the District Administrative Court of Kyiv ruled that the Cabinet of Ministers’ order №315 of April 27, 2016, is unlawful and invalid. This order described the price formation of natural gas for the people’s needs.

The indicated violations were recognized by the court. The violations were recognized as those, which do not abide by the making of this order requirement of legal acts, which have supreme judicial force.

The case hearing was in 2016. The hearing lasted for so long due to the changing board of judges because of the end of their term.
