The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved the procedure for compliance with quarantine measures during the local elections. This was reported by the government's press service.
All persons entering the polling station will be required to report the presence or absence of symptoms of respiratory disease. In addition, all individuals will undergo temperature screening.
Antiseptics, as well as places for collecting and disposing of personal protective equipment, must be installed at the entrance to the election commission or polling station.
Even those who are in isolation will be able to vote. In order to do this, they must submit an application with a medical certificate attached no later than 20 hours on the last Friday before the voting.
The elections are scheduled for October 25, 2020.
As we reported earlier, additional 7.3 million dollars must be allocated for measures to counter the spread of coronavirus during the upcoming local elections in Ukraine.
"In a pandemic, it is necessary to additionally allocate $7,3 million for the elections. The vast majority of expenses should be directed to protecting members of precinct election commissions," the statement said.
