Armed Forces of Ukraine received the first batch of modernized UAVs, Spectator M-1. According to state-run defense enterprise Ukroboronprom, the drone is designed for aerial reconnnaissance.

The device boasts of better radioelectronic warfare protection and better aerodynamic specifications than its predecessors. Stealth capabilities have been also improved.

At that, the drone can be used for monitoring of the border, search and rescue operations, monitoring of water and forest areas. It can stay in the air for about two hours, covering the area of 30 kilometers.

The previous version of Spectator M-1 was adopted for duty in June 2019.

As of June 18, 148 people are infected with coronavirus at the Armed Forces of Ukraine. During the past 24 hours, 18 new cases were diagnosed as the Medical Forces reported on Facebook.

Nine people were hospitalized. The state of health of the patients is satisfactory. Besides, nine people stay at home under the observation of the medical service.

Totally, 227 people recovered since the beginning of the pandemic; four lethal cases were registered.
